Barbells + Brunch Event

We had SO MUCH FUN at our first ever Saturday morning Barbells + Brunch event. We had women and men of all ages and all fitness levels show up and get after it.

Director of E3, Chelsea Bellinger, took the group through a 50-minute bootcamp-style total body workout.

The Workout

WARMUP: Before beginning any exercises, Chelsea took the group through a dynamic warmup series to loosen up and prepare for the workout ahead.

CARDIO: The entire group rotated between various cardio exercises including jogging, banded high knees, and plank jacks on a timer with rest in between sets.

UPPER BODY CIRCUIT: One half of the group began with an upper body circuit consisting of 3 upper body exercise stations. Each person rotated through the exercises for 10 minutes, seeing how many times they could complete the circuit in the 10 minutes. Then the group switched to the lower body circuit.

LOWER BODY CIRCUIT: The other half of the group began with a lower body circuit consisting of 3 lower body exercise stations. Each person rotated through the exercises for 10 minutes, seeing how many times they could complete the circuit in the 10 minutes. The the group switched to the upper body circuit.

CORE: Chelsea brought the group together at the end to finish with a few core exercises. You can actually watch the group do core here!

BRUNCH

After the workout, a big group went to brunch at Island Grill, voted on by the group in our Facebook event. Not everyone could make the brunch, but we loved catching up and getting to know those who came. We love this E3 community!

Join us in August for our next one! RSVP here for FREE!
